Let’s jump right in today 😊. The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer ($36) works well for my dry, eczema-prone, early-40s skin. It is easy to use with both brushes and my fingers (I don’t use beauty sponges anymore), has a matte finish, wears incredibly well with minimal creasing (even without powder), and has great coverage (buildable to full). When I wear this without powder, it does sink into lines a little more than when it is set; however, it is really not bad all things considered. I will say, up close, it does look dry on my skin type. Luckily, it never looks bad at a normal viewing distance, it never feels uncomfortable, and it doesn’t dry out my skin over time. While I do enjoy that it builds to full coverage, applying enough product to achieve that makes it look heavy. That isn’t unusual, just something to keep in mind.

I’ve included a chart that sums up how the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer stacks up against the brand’s claims for me. You can see the chart and swatch comparisons of the Estee Lauder Double Wear and Lancome Teint Idole All Over Concealers below or by clicking read more.
This formula is much more comfortable to wear than other matte concealers, but it isn’t quite as smooth-looking. However, I’m not sure I would notice it if I didn’t regularly have other concealers to compare it to. The Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer (2025 Reformulation) is the most comparable to me in terms of coverage. But it looks smoother and wears a little better, but it is drier and more uncomfortable for me in the colder months. The Estee Lauder is also thinner, so it doesn’t look as heavy to me as the Charlotte Tilbury formula.

For shade reference, my best foundation matches are the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in Tahoe and the old formula of the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 4W4 Hazel. I can also wear the new NARS Natural Matte Longwear Foundation in Tahoe.

My best match among the 34 available shades in the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Concealer is shade 10.5 Tan. I started out with the shade 9.5 Tan, but I felt it was a little light for my under-eye darkness. So I exchanged it for shade 10.5 Tan. In my opinion, the concealer shades in this line (at least for the tan shades) are too close together. They have slightly different undertones and depths, but they are just barely different from one another. Getting shade 10.5 did help, but it didn’t make as much of a difference as I thought it would. Below you can see swatches of shades 9.5 Tan, 10 Tan, 10.5 Tan, and 11 Tan. Unfortunately, it’s under Sephora lighting, so they all look pretty orange lol, but I think the picture shows how close they are in depth and shade well enough.

The claims vs my reality
| Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Concealer Claims | Do I agree? |
| Up to 24-hour crease-proof wear | I don’t think anything is 100% crease proof, but the creasing is very minimal for me. Even when worn without powder, it does well. |
| Water-resistant, transfer-resistant, sweat-proof, humidity-proof | Kind of. Overall, even when I sweat or have longer days, I don’t see any fading, so I mostly agree. It does wear well as a spot concealer. But since I typically wear it only under my eyes, it is hard to judge the transfer resistance. |
| Moisturizes for up to 24 hours after one application and doubles hydration after 1 hour | Maybe. It is possible, considering that this wears comfortably and doesn’t dry me out at all. I just have a hard time saying it is the product providing the moisturizing rather than my skincare. |
| 24-hour oil and shine control | Yes. Well, I’m not sure about 24 hours, but for the 8-10 hours I typically wear my makeup, I don’t see any shine. |
| Reduces the appearance of pigmentation | Yes. It is buildable to full coverage, so it covers well. If the brand is trying to claim that pigmentation will improve over time, that would be harder to determine. |
