This New Year Shine collection seems to be a partial launch of MAC’s 2023 Lunar New Year collection. It caught me by surprise both because it is on QVC (I haven’t seen it anywhere else) and because there are supposed to be more shade options for the highlight, blush, and lipstick. I’m not sure if the other shades have just already sold out on QVC or what.

Oh wow! I didn’t expect the items to show up at QVS even before MAC’s own site! And even Selfridges doesn’t have the highlighters, mascara, or Fix+ yet. That’s interesting. The mascara is super appealing because I’m a fan of the formula and the packaging is so pretty. That $5 upcharge for it though…yikes. And I thought the original was already quite expensive as is! lol.

Yea, I expected to atleast see it up on Macy’s once I saw this. I guess MAC is going to continue experimenting with their release locations.
