MAC Lipstick, Highlighter, and Blush Swatches

If you were already thinking of checking out the MAC sale, I thought I’d share some swatches to help you shop. I’m showcasing products that I feel are less talked about or at least less talked about among what is current and new to the market.

To shop the sale, use the code MACSPRING30 at checkout. I did test the code on all the available items I have swatched, and they were marked down successfully. The only exceptions are some blushes that are no longer available due to being limited edition or discontinued. I will make a note of those items below the pictures.

Enjoy!

UPDATE June 27, 2021: The Shimmy Peach palette is being discontinued, I think Macy’s and Ulta still have some in stock. The Flash + Awe** and Get it Glowin** Hyper Real Glow palettes are still available.

Matte Blushes, $25.00**

Burnt pepper, raizin, desert rose, and melba are still available in the permanent range as both a compact** and a refill pan.** Mocha and coppertone are only available in a compact.** Loudspeaker, fever, apple red, and prism are unfortunately no longer available. I’m hoping that MAC is repackaging, similar to the recent relaunch of Face and Body Foundation. It is really sad to see how much smaller the blush range is these days and I hope there will be good news on that front at some point.

All four of these shades are still available in the permanent range. Pinch me is the only shade in this grouping that is only available in a compact, it is not offered in a refill pan.

  1. I was going to ask your opinion of the Fever blush shade but that’s a shame it’s one of the discontinued ones. I wonder if MAC is trimming down their offerings because they plan to release new permanent shades, or if they are just going to release new blushes on a limited edition basis.

    1. Yea, it sucks they discontinued it. Especially considering deeper skin tones rely on MAC for inclusive shades that go beyond foundations. It would actually be nice to see them release a wider variety of blushes when they do limited-edition releases.

      1. Yes! Like the Black Cherry collection. I bought the Under My Plum shade because it was the only one that would work for me. I was surprised to see how similar it was to the other Extra Dimension Blushes in my collection.

        1. It makes no sense considering how much range we know they’re capable of. Is the packaging at least as nice in person as it looks online?

          1. The print itself is really pretty and I love the pink chrome color around it, but the matte black disc that they put in place of what would normally be the clear top makes it feel a bit cheap. The black portion is raised. If it had been flush with the rest of the lid, I think it would have looked a lot better.
